Aquatic GAP

The aquatic component of GAP is intended to be integral with terrestrial gap analysis, which has to date been the focus of the national program. Missouri was the first statewide pilot project to incorporate aquatic habitats and taxa but many other states have begun to include aquatic components. The Missouri methods are not necessarily those that will be standardized for national application by GAP but should be useful to other pilot projects and researchers.
