The U.S. Geological Survey Gap Analysis Program offers this site for international biodiversity programs and projects to make their information available to the global community. You may search for projects and collaborators or geographic places with the interactive global map. We have strived to use the most recent map we could find, but with constant world change we are certain that some country names and boundaries will be in error. To add a project simply click on the ""add"" option below and fill out all fields in the online form. We ask that only projects that fall under biodiversity inventory, monitoring, assessment, and conservation be submitted and particularly encourage those that are using a "gap analysis" process. We reserve the right to reject submissions we believe are inappropriate for this site. This site is provided as a voluntary service and we are not responsible for the content of any submissions.
