US-based Research and Applications

This section of the GAP home page is intended to facilitate identification of GAP research and applications and allow researchers and users of GAP information to register and describe their projects. Goals are to: allow others to be informed of the work, reduce duplicative effort, make contact with collaborators and partners in similar projects, and identify still unaddressed needs.

All GAP funded activities (other than the state GAP project itself) are required to register beginning FY 99 and all others are strongly encouraged to register to meet the goals described above. The data fields are designed to be compatible with the USGS/BRD SIS system. See the "Add" section below to register.
