(Poster Description)
Texas GAP (TX-GAP) data was used to assess agricultural
practices and landscape characteristics in Lubbock County, Texas.
1993 Landsat Thematic Mapper (TM) scenes were used to describe
vegetation. Vegetation was classified using SPECTRUM. Data was
analyzed with the aid of ArcInfo tools (GRID). Number and area
for water bodies (including playa lakes) irrigated, and
non-irrigated fields were determined for Lubbock County.
The poster was created using ArcView working on a Unix platform.
For transit to the GAP office the entire poster was saved in an
EPS format and then pasted into Adobe Pagemaker 6.5, then saved
as html.
