Overview

The Gap Analysis Program (GAP) at the University of Idaho (UI-GAP) has partnered with the U.S. Geological Survey Gap Analysis Program (USGS-GAP) for 25 years, since its inception in 1989.

UI-GAP is integral to the USGS-GAP through its efforts to assist GAP data users with conservation research and applications, data development and integration, technical expertise, and institutional memory across 27 years. UI-GAP provides innovative methods and extensive knowledge of GAP data to current research on conservation of biodiversity.
